Todd Ross


Todd Ross has been in the industry of training, organizational & leadership development, course design, and motivational speaking for close to 20 years. He majored in psychology at the New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury New York. He has built and managed training organizations for numerous Fortune 500 companies that include MCIWorldCom, Sprint-Nextel and Dell. Todd currently owns and operates a consulting firm that targets trainer development and improving all aspects of the training function.



Velicia Waymer


Velicia Waymer, CPLP, CTICC is a Training Design & Development Specialist at 1st Advantage Federal Credit Union. With an extensive background in graphic design, designing training was a logical transition when Velicia moved to the Hampton Roads area some 12 years ago. Ms. Waymer was frequently tapped as the "soft skills" facilitator in her varied roles as a trainer throughout her career. She is focused on employee development, growing leaders and examining new ways to convey effective learning for adults for use both in and out of the classroom. In 2005, Velicia was part of the CPLP (Certified Professional in Learning & Performance) Pilot program offered by ASTD (American Society for Training & Development). Velicia earned her certification in Designing Learning in 2006 and has just received notice of her recertification in April of this year. In 2006, Velicia successfully completed training as a Life Coach and earned her certification from Coach Training Institute. She utilizes that knowledge of effective coaching to guide supervisory personnel in partnering with their teams to establish open and productive lines of communication. Velicia's focus of late has been to utilize current technologies to provide variety in addressing different styles of learning for the corporate employee. Velicia describes herself as a "creative" and readily accepts challenging projects to flex her artistic muscle.

Velicia was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts where she obtained a degree in Graphic Design and Illustration from the New England School of Art & Design now part of Suffolk University. Velicia has been happily married for 10 years to Winston Waymer and has three children. A daughter, Brittni Peters, recently graduated from Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte, NC, a son, Airman Dillan Peters, serving his country as a proud member of the United States Air Force, and Rhetta Peters, a sophomore at Phoebus High School.

Velicia is also an accomplished lampworker and illustrator.



Marian Ramsey


Since entering the workforce, Marian Ramsey has worked for Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Washington, D.C., Prince Georges County Public Schools, MD; Management Executives, INC., Newport News, VA and Mary Kay. Her various positions have included claims adjuster, account executive, independent skin care consultant, and teacher. She is now an endorsed middle school educator who has taught in Newport News for thirty-one years. In her current role, she instructs a state mandated curriculum for middle school ensuring compliance with city, state, and federal laws. Due to her deep fascination with business and economics, Marian has pursued her main interest and professional development by combining contract duties with positions in the Newport News Education Association- serving on the executive board as vice president and VEA delegate. During her career, she's also served as a business coordinator, sponsor for the Young Women of Distinction, student/teacher mentor, and other positions held on various committees. Previous education includes completing secondary education in Europe and attending the Univ. of MD., College Park, MD. A native dependent of the U.S. military, Marian lived in Europe and Maryland before settling in Hampton Roads where she makes her home. When not working, she likes to spend quality time with mother, Ruby; son, Jason; and three grandchildren- Jasiana, Isaiah, and Jason Jr.



Rhonda D. Ross, M.Ed.


Rhonda D. Ross, M.Ed. is a 23 year veteran in the field of public education. She began with the NYC Board of Education and is currently serving as Resource Support Staff in the Newport News Public Schools. She also serves as COO of Ross Group Consulting where her husband, Todd Ross is founder and CEO. Rhonda has received numerous awards and commendations for her professional proficiency and work with students and faculties. Rhonda's extensive experience in workshop development and facilitation runs the gamut from parent involvement to staff development in the educational and religious arenas. Rhonda has authored and copyrighted such seminars as "For the Sake of the Call: Bridging the Gap Between and School"; "It's Time For a Checkup: Keeping Your Finger on the Pulse of Classroom Environment"; "Keeping the Magic Alive in Building Relationships with Students", just to name a few. Rhonda received a B.A. in Special Education from Dowling College, Oakdale, L.I. and a M.Ed. in Curriculum Design and Character Development from Regent University, Va. Beach, VA. She is very passionate about helping others achieve proficiency in facilitation and presentation skills. Rhonda resides in Hampton, Va. with her family.



Alvin T. Jones Jr.


Alvin Jones was raised in a family of leaders and educators. Early in his professional career, Alvin T. Jones Jr. was inspired to lead, coach and develop. He majored in Business Administration with a concentration in Psychology at Virginia State University in Petersburg Virginia. Alvin has created, developed, and managed various organizational and leadership development programs for such progressive companies as MCI Worldcom, NCO Group, and Cox Communications. As an entrepreneur, Alvin has provided residential housing for various not profit organizations, state and government agencies.
